Where on the bike (YZ85) can I find what year it is? Thank You

Look at the vin number and the year should be the 10th number of the vin #

What happens if the bike is before the VIN system you need to rely on the good old engine/frame number like 2L8-000567 2L8 giving the model & the rest giving the year the VIN system is a bit like the world gone crazy .... life was a lot more simple back in the day
