Nope......3 years ago, I quit a good job I had in Bend, OR......after trying to support 2 households for a 5 month stint.....right when the housing market fell on it's face!
I dragged home the 27ft. trailer I was living in......sold it & my RD to catch up on bills.

Vowed to myself when I bought my XT6..... that I wasn't gonna ever let this Red & White Yamaha go! :riding:

Sorry to hear that, unfortunately sometimes we don't have choice but give up valuable things to catch up with the bills. as long we are healthy I guess everything could be replaced

Thanks for trying to help ID this bike. It is at the orchard presently so I have requested pictures to post here. (So wait....)

I can tell you that this is a semi-automatic 4 speed. Color is deep red and a Backbone Bike. It had originally a white faring down from headtube and over engine. This is a 2T engine and this version Yamaha seat unlocksfrom rear and tilts forward to access 2T and Petrol tanks. Ignition and fork lock are one unit and located center of fork in front of rider. It has 17" spoked Chrome rims and tires. Also engine covers right and left side are either chromed or polished alloy.

Again serial is: 23U- 038223

Cheers,
David
