YG! Kickstart Problem - Yamaha Forums

rodss67 Join Date: Dec 2011 Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	YG! Kickstart Problem I have a YG1 with a kickstart problem. The kickstarter does not engage everytime you kick it. It is progressivly getting worse. Another problem that I know is probably linked to it is that you cannot bump start it as the tire just slides and you can see the kickstart lever move. Does anyone know what it takes to repair this. This is a ball lock transmission and the cases have to be split to repair kickstart. I was told to replace just the rollers but the person that gave me that info was not 100% sure. Any advice would be appreciated as I am very frustrated getting to the bottom of this problem.
